چکیده
Lung cancer is the leading cause of death in Asian Americans and unfortunately majority are diagnosed at advanced or late stages. In Asia, approximately 60 to 80% female lung patients never smokers. Patients with early-stage have higher cure survival rates, supporting premise screening programs. However, United States has been focused on current former Recent data presented from TALENT study, a study for nonsmokers conducted Taiwan, reported detection rate 2.6%.

Lung cancer screening in high-risk populations.
Although the number of smokers per capita has declined appreciably in the United States in the past 30 years, smokers still make up about one quarter of the adult population. It does not appear that the number of US smokers will decrease further in the next century, and the number may even increase due to the popularity of smoking among teenagers. Epidemiological data indicate that women are mo...

Patients who survive an index lung cancer (ILC) after surgical resection continue to be at significant risk for a metachronous lung cancer (MLC). Indeed, this risk is much higher than the risk of developing an ILC in heavy smokers. There is currently little evidence upon which to base guidelines for screening at-risk patients for MLC, and the risk-reward tradeoffs for screening this patient pop...

Two recent studies of computed tomography (CT) screening of lung cancer ( 3 , 4 ) have received worldwide press coverage of their discordant conclusions. The difference in the conclusions of the two studies reflected different opinions as to which...
